To Be Re-Scheduled

Our Minor game with Glengarriff has had to be abandoned with no playable pitches in Beara. The earliest date for this game would now appear to be Sunday next, 22nd November. We will be in touch with the Beara Board throughout the week.

Urhan To Play Glengarriff or CTB

The Beara Board have informed us that we will most likely play our Minor Plate Championship against Glengarriff on Sunday 15th November. Should Glengarriff decide this weekend that they cannot field a team, then we will play CTB instead on that date in the Plate Final.

South West League Confirm Final Standing

The South West League have confirmed that Urhan are to be awarded the points for the Minor games against Goleen, Glengarriff and St. Oliver Plunketts.

This means that, in a very truncated league, Urhan finish top on maximum points having beaten Barryroe 8-6 to 2-4 in the only scheduled game which their opposition fulfilled. Congratulations to the lads.

Our Minors had their best day of the year last Sunday. Barryroe were very disappointed with their performance, but Urhan should take credit for sticking to their task and notching up a good win.

Championship Game Falls Foul Of The Weather

With no playable pitches in Beara, due to the recent deluges, our Minor Championship game has been called off at the last second. As of yet, no alternative date has been set by the Beara Board.

Sunday 30th August, 3.00pm, Barryroe

Our Minors travel to Barryroe for a South West League game this Sunday.

Glengarriff Vs Urhan, Glengarriff 7.00pm

Our Minors' first-round championship game goes ahead tomorrow night (Wed 26th August) versus Glengarriff, in Glengarriff at 7.00pm.

In a cracking game of football in Eyeries last night, 'Town finished strongly to deny a game and talented Urhan minor team. Urhan will take a lot from this Beara League game as they played some excellent football at times, and will not be disheartened in any way.

Wednesday's Game Off

Glengarriff have asked the Beara Board to cancel this Wednesday's minor game. We await a new date for this fixture. The Minors' next game is now Wed 8th July at home to CTB.

As Of 29th June

Due to Friday's Noel Kelly Final, our minor game at Barryroe has been postponed.

Upcoming Fixtures are now as follows:-

Wed 1st July 7.30pm Urhan V Glengarriff, Eyeries Park.
Wed 8th July 7.30pm Urhan V CTB, Eyeries Park.

We're also hoping to play our home game against St. Oliver Plunketts on the 12th July, pending confirmation.
